FUN FACT: The “Chianina” is one of the oldest cattle breeds in Italy. It owes its name to the breeding area: “Valdichiana in Tuscany.”
Today, this breed is protected by the European PGI certification, which guarantees its origin and quality. It is from this certified meat that we obtain our Chianina ragù.
